Mercedes-Benz India has announced key leadership changes in its Sales & Marketing function, effective September 1, 2026, as part of its strategy to strengthen customer experience through artificial intelligence (AI), real-time data and integrated retail finance solutions.
The company said the organisational changes reflect its focus on promoting internal talent, developing future leaders and building stronger cross-functional capabilities.
Ms. Nandita Godbole has been appointed to lead the Marketing function. Having previously held leadership roles across Marketing, Retail Sales and the Digital Customer Unit, she will focus on expanding the use of AI, real-time data and predictive analytics to deliver a more personalised customer experience. She has played a key role in enhancing Mercedes-Benz India’s AI-led customer journey by creating seamless and intelligent customer interactions.

Mr. Amrit Baid, who successfully led the Marketing & Customer Experience function and spearheaded several major product launches and brand campaigns such as Dreams Day, Wish Box and GT Tribe, will now head the company’s Retail Finance and Pre-Owned Cars business.
Mercedes-Benz said its Retail Finance business has grown significantly and now supports more than 50% of the company’s vehicle sales through financing programmes such as Star Agility. The business has built a portfolio of over ₹15,000 crore, and the new leadership aims to further integrate financing into the overall customer journey.
Commenting on the appointments, Mr. Brendon Sissing, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said the changes reinforce the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences through AI, real-time data strategies and integrated business capabilities while preparing future-ready leaders for the organisation.
