Imperial Auto, a global fluid transmission solutions provider, announces appointment of Sandeep Bathla as its Chief Global Operations Officer (CGOO). In his new role, Sandeep will lead the company’s manufacturing operations globally and drive initiatives aimed at strengthening manufacturing excellence, enhancing manufacturing capabilities and supporting Imperial Auto’s next phase of growth. He will report to Vikram Wagh, MD and CEO, Imperial Auto.
Sandeep’s mandate will include enhancing manufacturing productivity, accelerating automation and technology adoption, strengthening supply-chain capabilities and building greater consistency across Imperial Auto’s manufacturing network.

With over three decades of experience across the automotive and manufacturing sectors, Sandeep brings extensive expertise in operations, manufacturing excellence and business leadership. Prior to joining Imperial Auto, he served as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Plasser India. Over the course of his career, he has also held leadership positions at organisations including Blue Star Limited, Motherson Sintermetal Technology Limited and Eicher Tractors.
Sandeep holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra and a Doctor of Philosophy from European International University, Paris.
The appointment comes as Imperial Auto continues to strengthen its manufacturing and engineering capabilities and expand its presence across global markets.
