At Prawaas 4.0, Eberspächer showcased significant advancements in climate control systems, with K P Singh, Managing Director – India and Head of the APAC Region for Climate Control Systems – Bus & Coach, noting the growing momentum in the bus industry. “This year’s edition is one of the best, with bus operator registrations increasing every year,” Singh commented. He emphasized Eberspächer’s role in this growth, offering solutions for both conventional and electric buses.
Over the past two days at the event, Singh observed, “It’s truly a festival for operators, and we are happy to be part of this celebration.” Eberspächer introduced a global platform that combines cooling and heating by means of a heat pump function with reversible circulation. This heat pump system, designed not only for India but also for export markets. “This new system offers higher efficiency with better heating capacity, which will greatly enhance bus comfort,” Singh explained.
Eberspächer’s commitment to innovation was evident with their launch of advanced systems, including a 45 kW and 50 kW solution for sleeper coaches and a new AC 135 conventional platform for mid-sized buses. “We ensure comfort with no breakdowns, and our air quality filters remove dust and pollen,” Singh shared, highlighting the company’s focus on passenger comfort.
Singh also touched on Eberspächer’s expanding production capabilities. “We moved to a new facility in 2019, and it’s already becoming too small,” he said. Eberspächer is scaling up to meet the growing demands of the Indian bus market, while also supporting customers in the Middle East and Asia. “We are committed to the Indian market and will continue growing to remain a top player in the domain,” Singh concluded.
