e-SPRINTO Launches G1 Electric Scooter in India, Prices Start at ₹89,999

e-SPRINTO, an Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the G1, its first electric scooter for the business-to-consumer (B2C) market, with prices starting at ₹89,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter marks the company’s expansion beyond its established business-to-business (B2B) and fleet customer base into the individual and family mobility segment.

Developed over nearly two years of research and development and consumer research, the G1 is available in three variants priced at ₹89,999 for the 2.0 kW version, ₹94,999 for the 2.5 kW version and ₹99,999 for the 3.0 kW version. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Three battery options and practical features

The G1 offers three battery options with claimed ranges of up to 80 km, 100 km and 130 km, respectively. Its three riding modes, Eco, City and Sport, provide speeds of up to 30 km/h, 40 km/h and 50 km/h, respectively.

Key features include a 150 kg carrying capacity, 12-inch tubeless tyres and 165 mm ground clearance. The battery carries an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water ingress under specified test conditions. The scooter also comes equipped with a Combi Braking System and a digital display. Navigation functionality is available through an optional subscription.

The combination of battery choices, riding modes and utility-focused specifications is intended to address the requirements of daily commuting and family use.

Expanding from B2B to B2C

According to e-SPRINTO, more than 70,000 of its electric two-wheelers are currently on Indian roads. The company operates three manufacturing facilities with an annual production capacity of 1.5 lakh units.

Its entry into the B2C segment builds on its experience in supplying business and fleet customers. The company plans to extend its focus on product availability, after-sales service, spare-parts support and quality to its consumer operations as it develops its dealership network.

Shalu Gupta, Co-Founder, e-SPRINTO, said the G1 launch marks an important step in the company’s expansion into the consumer market. The development process involved understanding the needs of Indian families and translating those insights into the product.

“Our experience in the B2B segment has helped us understand that the relationship with a customer extends well beyond the product itself. Reliability, availability, service and spare-parts support are equally important. Over the past two years, we have focused on understanding the needs of Indian families and translating those insights into the G1. Our goal is to make electric mobility more accessible while building long-term trust with our customers,” she said.

Atul Gupta, Co-Founder, e-SPRINTO, said the company’s priority in the B2C segment would be to complement the product with a strong sales, service and spares network.

“We have focused on practical requirements, including battery choices, riding modes, carrying capacity and features relevant to everyday use. As we enter the B2C market, our priority is to complement the product with a strong sales, service and spares ecosystem, ensuring that customer confidence remains central to our growth,” he said.

The G1 will be available in four colours: Charcoal Black, Slate Grey, Horizon Blue and Pine Green.

The three variants are priced as follows:
