Mercedes-Benz Celebrates First Anniversary of New LWB E-Class in India

Mercedes-Benz India marked the first anniversary of the new Long Wheelbase (LWB) E-Class, reaffirming its position as the country’s bestselling luxury sedan. Since its showcase in September 2024 and launch in October 2024, the 6th generation E-Class has redefined luxury mobility with AI-driven technology, comfort, and strong performance.

Over the past year, the new E-Class has won nine prestigious awards and cemented its place as the top choice for Indian luxury car buyers. With more than 62,000 units on Indian roads, the E-Class continues to be the most preferred luxury executive saloon.

The model stands out with advanced features such as the AI-powered MBUX Superscreen and Routines, offering personalised experiences, along with plush interiors and segment-leading comfort. Since its local production began in 1995, the E-Class has evolved with the changing aspirations of customers, and the latest LWB version represents the most sophisticated iteration yet.

To commemorate the milestone, Mercedes-Benz India introduced a new ‘Verde Silver’ paint shade. Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said, “Thank you, India, for making the New LWB E-Class the most desirable luxury car in the country. This world-class product has set benchmarks in luxury, comfort, technology, and performance. The nine awards won over the past year are a testament to the trust and love of our customers. The new colour offering is our way of celebrating this success and continuing our promise of modern luxury.”
