Komaki Electric Vehicles has launched two new electric scooters — the MG Pro V and the MG Pro+ — priced at ₹73,999 and ₹79,999 respectively, offering an all-metal body construction at a price point where most rivals rely on fibre panels. The company is positioning the launch as a step toward making premium build quality accessible to everyday riders without requiring them to stretch their budgets.

The all-metal body is the centrepiece of both models. While fibre body panels are the norm in the affordable electric two-wheeler segment, Komaki’s metal construction promises greater strength, longer durability, and a more solid riding experience — qualities that have typically been associated with higher-priced vehicles. Both scooters are powered by a BLDC hub motor and LiFePO4 battery technology, chosen for its longer lifespan and reliability relative to the battery chemistries commonly found in this segment.
On range, the MG Pro V delivers 90 to 100 km on a single charge, while the MG Pro+ extends that to over 150 km, making both models practical for daily city commuting as well as longer rides. The feature set includes mobile app connectivity for monitoring battery health and range, front disc brakes, telescopic suspension, an anti-theft lock, parking assist, repair switch, and a spacious riding platform. The MG Pro+ additionally offers a larger boot space for riders who need more everyday practicality.
Mr. Gunjan Malhotra, Co-founder of Komaki Electric Vehicles, said affordability should never come at the cost of quality, and that the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ were developed to bring features — particularly a strong metal body and safe, long-lasting batteries — that customers in this price range have rarely had access to. He added that the combination is designed to inspire confidence among buyers and reflect the company’s commitment to making dependable, well-built electric scooters available to a much wider audience.
