Gulf Oil Strengthens Construction Equipment Push with ACE, Ammann and XCMG Partnerships

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. (Hinduja Group) has announced new strategic partnerships with leading construction equipment manufacturers ACE – Action Construction Equipment Ltd., Ammann India and XCMG, strengthening its presence in India’s fast-growing infrastructure and construction segment.

The collaborations expand Gulf’s portfolio of OEM-approved lubricants, aimed at improving equipment reliability, increasing uptime and reducing total cost of ownership across demanding operating conditions. The move aligns with India’s accelerating infrastructure development and growing need for durable, high-performance equipment solutions.

Building on its long-standing association with ACE, Gulf has introduced new products under the ACE Genuine Oil range. These lubricants have been developed specifically for ACE’s wide portfolio, including cranes, backhoe loaders, compactors, motor graders, forklifts, tractors and harvesters, and are engineered to perform reliably in real-world Indian conditions.

Gulf has also entered a strategic partnership with Ammann India, a major player in road construction equipment with a strong presence in asphalt plants, pavers and compaction machinery. Under this collaboration, Gulf becomes the official lubricants partner for Ammann’s entire equipment range in India, supplying products under the Ammann Genuine Oil brand. The partnership brings together Ammann’s equipment expertise and Gulf’s lubrication technology to enhance machine life, improve uptime and support sustainable operations. The two companies will also work together on specialised lubricants for Ammann’s future, technology-led equipment.

In addition, Gulf has partnered with XCMG, a global construction equipment manufacturer, to introduce XCMG-branded genuine lubricants in the Indian market. The association reflects a shared focus on local manufacturing, application-specific solutions and deeper understanding of Indian operating environments.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd., said infrastructure has been a strategic focus for the company for more than 15 years. He noted that working closely with OEMs such as ACE, Ammann and XCMG allows Gulf to deliver future-ready, application-specific lubricants that help customers reduce downtime and optimise equipment performance, while building long-term value through strong partnerships.

Gulf currently works with more than 50 OEMs across automotive, industrial and construction sectors, supporting infrastructure customers with expert product selection, on-ground technical support and customised solutions. The company has also introduced a new generation of lubricants, including fire-resistant hydraulic oil, energy-efficient zinc-free hydraulic oil, CEV V diesel engine oil, synthetic formulations and synthetic gear oil 75W90.
