Mahindra Auto Records 58,021 SUV Sales and 99,636 Total Vehicle Sales in May 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) reported total vehicle sales of 99,636 units in May 2026, registering a 20% year-on-year growth, including exports.

The company’s Utility Vehicle (UV) segment continued to drive performance, with 58,021 SUVs sold in the domestic market, reflecting an 11% growth over the corresponding period last year. Including exports, total UV sales stood at 59,573 units during the month.

Mahindra’s Commercial Vehicle (CV) business also maintained strong momentum, with domestic sales reaching 24,079 units, up 19% year-on-year.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said:

“In May, we achieved SUV sales of 58,021 units, representing an 11% growth, while total vehicle sales stood at 99,636 units, up 20% year-on-year. Demand across our portfolio remains strong, although supply chain challenges persist due to manpower shortages at select supplier locations.”

Year-to-Date Performance

In the first two months of FY27, Mahindra’s domestic Utility Vehicle sales reached 114,352 units, compared with 104,761 units during the same period of FY26, reflecting a 9% growth.

The company’s export business also posted strong growth, with cumulative exports rising 42% to 9,970 units, compared with 7,027 units in the corresponding period last year.
