Maruti Suzuki India Limited has selected six startups under the 10th cohort of its flagship Accelerator Program to co-develop AI-driven and technology-led solutions aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency, safety, traceability and customer engagement.
The selected startups — Goat Robotics, SheerDrive, Schijnenn Digital, GenbaNEXT, Swayatt Drishtigochar and Swiftex — have been awarded paid Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to work closely with Maruti Suzuki teams on real-world business applications.
The company said the solutions being developed through the programme are expected to improve safety and operational efficiency across manufacturing plants, reduce product design and development lead time, strengthen material-level traceability and further enhance customer experience.
Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said the initiative aligns with the company’s focus on modernising operations and building future-ready capabilities through collaboration with startups.
“As our operations continue to grow, the solutions that we are co-creating with these startups will enable us to further improve safety in our plants, help reduce product design and development lead time, strengthen material traceability to support our circularity efforts, and help our dealer sales executives engage with customers more efficiently,” he said.
Takeuchi added that the company remains committed to supporting the Government of India’s Startup India initiative through its innovation-led programmes.
According to the company, the Accelerator Program provides startups with mentorship, access to Maruti Suzuki’s facilities and opportunities to collaborate with its teams on practical business challenges. The initiative is aimed at helping startups refine and scale their ideas while simultaneously enabling the automaker to accelerate digital transformation and operational innovation.
