CNH India Rolls Out 800,000th Tractor From Greater Noida Plant

CNH Industrial has achieved a major manufacturing milestone with the rollout of its 800,000th tractor from its Greater Noida facility, underlining the company’s growing role in India’s agricultural machinery sector and its expanding global export footprint.

The Greater Noida plant, operational since 1999, manufactures tractors under the New Holland and Case IH brands for both domestic and international markets. The company stated that the latest milestone was achieved at a record pace, with the last 100,000 tractors produced in less than two years after the 700,000th tractor milestone was reached in 2024.

Mr. Ravi Kundra, Director Manufacturing Agriculture at CNH Industrial India, said the achievement highlights the strength and agility of the company’s manufacturing operations amid rising demand in domestic and export markets.

“As a key pillar in CNH’s global manufacturing network, our Noida plant continues to deliver world-class, technology-driven solutions backed by the trust of our customers and our commitment to the future of farming. Rolling out our 800,000th tractor from the Greater Noida facility is a significant milestone that reflects the strength and agility of our manufacturing operations,” he said.

Spread across 60 acres, the Greater Noida facility manufactures tractors, engines, transmissions, Power Take-Offs (PTOs), and axles. The plant currently has an annual production capacity of around 60,000 tractors, which is being expanded to 70,000 units to cater to increasing demand across India and overseas markets.

The facility produces more than 3,000 tractor variants and exports products to over 90 countries spanning Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and North America. The company employs more than 4,000 people in India.

CNH India said the plant integrates advanced automation systems and stringent quality processes while also focusing on sustainable manufacturing initiatives, including rooftop solar power generation, water conservation measures, and afforestation programmes based on the Miyawaki plantation methodology.

The company added that India has emerged as a key global hub for the design, manufacturing, and export of small tractors, with New Holland continuing to be its fastest-growing brand in the Indian market. Building on this momentum, CNH India has also announced plans to establish a new tractor manufacturing facility to support rising local and global demand for “Made in India” equipment.
