EVM Enters Automotive Tech with Launch of Made-in-India EnEye DashCam

EVM, the Indian brand known for its computing and mobility solutions under Hundia Info Solutions Pvt. Ltd., is making its debut in the automotive electronics segment with the launch of its first dash camera — the EnEye DashCam. The new product marks the company’s strategic foray into the fast-growing automotive surveillance market, combining reliability, safety, and smart technology engineered for Indian driving conditions.

Set to launch later this month, the EnEye DashCam is designed and manufactured in India and features 1080P Full HD video recording, a 1.47-inch display, and a wide-angle lens for comprehensive coverage. It supports in-app video playback via both iOS and Android, Loop Recording, Mic Mute, and comes housed in a robust ABS plastic body. Each unit is packaged with a 64GB EVM Micro SD card, a 3-metre car charging cable, and Type-C connectivity for plug-and-play convenience.

Mr. Aatish Hundia, Director, EVM, said, “With the EnEye DashCam, we’re bringing smart, accessible surveillance to every Indian vehicle — with the assurance of EVM’s quality, service, and Made in India commitment. It’s not just about recording footage; it’s about empowering Indian drivers with safety, awareness, and peace of mind.”

The company’s entry into the automotive electronics category comes as the demand for dashcams surges in India. With their ability to provide critical video evidence in the event of accidents, insurance disputes, or road incidents, dashcams are increasingly being viewed as essential safety devices. According to Mordor Intelligence, India’s dashcam market is expected to grow at over 18% CAGR between 2024 and 2029, though overall penetration remains below 5%.

“We see a clear need for a reliable, locally supported, warranty-backed dashcam built for Indian conditions. That’s what EnEye is set to deliver,” Mr. Hundia added.

The launch reinforces EVM’s diversification strategy beyond its existing portfolio of IT peripherals, mobile accessories, audio products, and power solutions. Future automotive offerings will include dual-channel dashcams, AI-powered incident detection, and fleet-monitoring systems.
