India Yamaha Motor has announced the price and availability of the Aerox E, its high-performance electric scooter developed in India for premium urban mobility. Priced at ₹2.81 lakh ex-showroom Delhi and offered in Bluish White Cocktail, the Aerox E will be available at Yamaha Blue Square Showrooms in select cities.

The Aerox E is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor delivering 9.4 kW of peak power and 48 Nm of torque, providing instant acceleration and confident manoeuvrability for urban riding. It has a certified range of 117 km and a top speed of 95.5 km/h, making it a practical and spirited choice for daily city commutes. Three ride modes — Eco, Standard, and Power — allow riders to tailor performance to traffic conditions and range requirements, while a Boost function delivers rapid acceleration on demand and a reverse mode simplifies parking in tight spaces.
The scooter runs on dual removable batteries of 1.5 kWh each, with a 30Ah capacity per unit. Each battery charges in approximately three hours and ten minutes, and the scooter can operate on a single battery while the other charges, ensuring uninterrupted mobility. Ergonomic grips allow easy removal for home charging. The battery comes with a three-year or 30,000 km warranty.

In design, the Aerox E stays true to Yamaha’s Maxi Sports DNA, featuring the brand’s Heart-Shaking Speedster design philosophy with athletic proportions, a distinctive X motif, and a proud body stance that makes its presence felt on city roads. Sharp LED headlights and an LED taillight with flashers enhance both safety and visual appeal, while revised ergonomics deliver a comfortable yet sporty riding posture.
On the safety and technology front, the Aerox E comes equipped with a Traction Control System, front and rear disc brakes with single-channel ABS, and a 5-inch colour TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation. Y-Connect mobile app integration offers multi-information display functions, maintenance reminders, and last-parked location tracking. A smart key system and an externally positioned charging port round out a feature set designed to make ownership as convenient as the ride itself.
