VIDA – powered by Hero MotoCorp expanded its electric two-wheeler portfolio with the launch of the new VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant. The model was unveiled by Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, reinforcing the government’s intent to accelerate India’s shift to electric mobility. The new variant aligns with VIDA’s mission of “Ghar Ghar Evooter,” aimed at making EV ownership practical, affordable and accessible to families across the country.
The VIDA Evooter VX2 range has already gained strong traction among riders seeking a familiar, scooter-like experience with EV performance. Branded as “Badalte India Ka Scooter,” it blends everyday dependability with modern electric convenience. The newly launched VX2 Go 3.4 kWh builds on this momentum by offering greater range and improved power, tuned specifically for real Indian road conditions and family usage.
Powered by a dual-removable-battery setup, the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh delivers a real-world riding range of up to 100 km per charge and generates 6 kW peak power with 26 Nm torque. It offers two ride modes—Eco and Ride—with a top speed of 70 km/h. Practicality remains a core design element, with a flat floorboard, roomy seat, 27.2-litre under-seat storage and suspension calibrated for urban commuting and rough patches.
Speaking at the launch, Ms. Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer – Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, said, “VIDA has always stood for progress — combining innovation with functionality to enhance life for Indian riders. The new Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is designed for those who seek more range and efficiency in their commute. It reinforces our commitment to empowering everyday mobility and moving India towards a cleaner, better tomorrow.”
VIDA continues to differentiate itself with its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, allowing customers to subscribe to the battery instead of buying it, significantly reducing upfront ownership cost. With over 4,600+ charging points and 700+ service touchpoints across India, VIDA ensures wide accessibility and customer support. The VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is priced at ₹1,02,000, while BaaS subscription begins at ₹60,000, with a pay-per-kilometre cost of ₹0.90.
Bookings open at VIDA dealerships in November 2025. The expanded VX2 portfolio now includes VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, VX2 Go 3.4 kWh, and VX2 Plus — offering options for value seekers, daily commuters, and performance-oriented riders alike.
