Tork Motors inaugurates Experience Zone in Bengaluru

TORK Motors, India’s first electric motorcycle manufacturer, has inaugurated its first Experience Zone in Bengaluru announcing its entry into the state of Karnataka. Located in 5th block, Jayanagar, this 3S facility will be home to the brand’s KRATOS-R motorcycle and will offer sales and after sales services to consumers in the region.

The new facility will cater to the existing and potential customers in and around the city of Bengaluru and help establish TORK Motors’ footprint in the state. Customers will be able to get up-close with the KRATOS-R and gain an immersive experience of India’s first electric motorcycle through comprehensive test rides.

On this occasion, Kapil Shelke, Founder & CEO, TORK Motors, said, “We are delighted to open our first Experience Zone in Bengaluru. The city is hailed as the country’s ‘tech capital’ and is also a city of motorcyclists, making it a very significant market for us. The KRATOS-R salutes the spirit of this city by being completely designed and developed in India for Indian motorcyclists. Born with the intent of making the thrill of electric motorcycling accessible to a wide range of riders, it blends in cutting-edge technology and exhilarating performance at a very reasonable price point. We are confident that it will certainly excite the tech lovers and motorcycle enthusiasts in the city alike.”

TORK KRATOS-R is ready to set the streets of the city ablaze. The motorcycle has been a trendsetter since its launch and packs in striking design, punchy powertrain and a capable chassis. It is a premium commuter motorcycle that offers great performance and handling while attracting eyeballs for its sporty stance.

On the tech front, the motorcycle is equipped with a 4.0 kWH Li-ion battery pack (IP 67 rated) powering a 9kW ‘Axial Flux’ motor, which has recently been granted a patent, enabling it to develop a peak torque of 38Nm at 96% efficiency. Three ride modes – Eco, City & Sport, enable the riders to harness the potential of this package based on their riding styles. The IDC range is 180 km (in Eco mode) while the KRATOS-R is capable of reaching a top speed of 105 km/h (in Sport mode). It also gets a Reverse mode for added rider convenience.

Earlier this year, the KRATOS-R was refreshed with significant changes. The motorcycle now boasts a completely black motor and battery pack along with stylish decals for enhanced appeal and comes with a fast-charging port. The motorcycle is available in five trendy colours.

With EMI options starting as low as INR 2,999/-* a month, TORK Motors has collaborated with leading financial organizations to make the KRATOS-R accessible to all. Existing customers can also upgrade their current motorcycle by paying a differential amount. Consumers can book their KRATOS-R online by visiting the company’s official website at
