Terra Motors Expands Kyoro EV Launch Across South India

Terra Motors, a Japanese EV manufacturer, is expanding its global footprint with the Kyoro electric three-wheeler, priced at Rs. 3.65 lakhs on-road. The Kyoro features an IP67-rated motor, delivers a top speed of 55 km/h, and offers a 200 km range on a single charge, making it well-suited for Indian roads. Three-wheelers, both passenger and cargo, stand to benefit from the Telangana government’s announcement that all EVs will be 100% exempt from road tax and registration fees through December 2026. The market potential for sustainable last-mile transportation is evident: Telangana has already recorded over 259,000 EV registrations, and new permits for 20,000 electric autorickshaws have been issued in Hyderabad.
