In a move aimed at strengthening its customer-centric strategy and expanding into emerging luxury markets, Mercedes-Benz India has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art service facility in South Goa. Located in Margao, the facility marks the brand’s first dedicated service presence in the region and its second outlet in the state.
The new facility, operated by Counto Motors, complements the existing 3S dealership in Ribandar, North Goa, and reflects the growing importance of Goa as a premium automotive market. With rising demand for luxury vehicles and evolving customer expectations, South Goa is increasingly emerging as a key hub for Mercedes-Benz customers.
Speaking on the expansion, Mr. Shekhar Bhide, Vice President, Customer Services, Mercedes-Benz India, said the new facility underlines the company’s commitment to delivering a more refined and personalised ownership experience. He highlighted that Goa continues to evolve as an important luxury market, driven by changing aspirations and increased demand for premium mobility.
The Margao facility spans a total built-up area of 8,598 sq. ft. and features four service bays, including two dedicated service bays and two supporting bays. Designed for efficiency, the workshop enables quick service turnaround while integrating advanced diagnostic and digital service tools such as XENTRY, Skyline and Digital Service Drive (DSD), ensuring transparency and real-time updates for customers.
Customers will benefit from a wide range of services including periodic maintenance, general repairs, advanced diagnostics, genuine parts replacement, and pick-up and drop convenience. The facility is supported by trained Mercedes-Benz technicians and dedicated service advisors to deliver a seamless ownership experience.
Mr. Aakash Khaunte, Director, Counto Motors, noted that the new outlet strengthens the dealer’s presence in Goa while bringing premium sales and after-sales services closer to customers in South Goa. He added that the expansion aligns with the rising demand for luxury mobility in the region.
