Kia Syros Model Year 2026 gets wider trims, more features, diesel automatic options

Kia India has introduced the Model Year 2026 (MY26) update of the Syros, expanding the lineup with new trims and feature enhancements aimed at improving accessibility and customer choice. Starting at ₹8.39 lakh, the updated Syros brings in new variants including HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O) and HTX(O), along with a broader availability of automatic options, including new diesel automatic variants.

The move is guided by evolving customer feedback, with Kia focusing on offering more value across price points while retaining the Syros’ strengths of spacious interiors, premium features and strong safety credentials.

Speaking on the update, Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said the MY26 evolution reflects customer insights, with a revised trim strategy and feature distribution designed to deliver more meaningful value and wider appeal. He added that the update strengthens the model’s positioning by combining comfort, practicality and city-friendly performance with greater accessibility to premium features.

The Syros MY26 continues to offer a strong feature package, including a 30-inch Trinity panoramic display with connected navigation cockpit, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, and second-row slide and recline functionality. It also comes with over 80 connected car features, OTA updates and Kia Connect diagnostics, enhancing convenience and ownership experience. Safety remains a key highlight, with a five-star BNCAP rating and a comprehensive 20-feature safety package.

Design updates further enhance the SUV’s road presence. The MY26 version gets a sportier and more rugged front bumper with body-coloured aero inserts, glossy black skid plates and LED fog lamps. At the rear, a redesigned bumper and LED high-mounted stop lamp add to the visual appeal. The side profile is strengthened with glossy black roof rails, ORVMs and body-coloured garnishes, while higher trims feature new 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels with neon brake calipers. New colour options such as Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte and Ivory Silver Gloss add to the visual differentiation.

A key highlight of the update is the introduction of diesel automatic variants from the HTK+ trim onwards, priced at ₹12.73 lakh, addressing growing demand for convenience in diesel powertrains.

With its compact footprint, the Syros continues to offer easy manoeuvrability in urban conditions while maintaining a spacious and comfortable cabin, making it suitable for both city use and family travel.
