Maruti Suzuki India Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to set up vehicle service facilities at select Indian Oil fuel retail outlets across the country, aiming to make car servicing more convenient and accessible for customers.

Under the partnership, Maruti Suzuki customers will be able to avail routine maintenance, minor repairs and even major services at these co-located facilities. By leveraging IOCL’s extensive fuel station network, the initiative is expected to significantly enhance ease of access to after-sales support, especially in high-footfall locations frequently visited by vehicle owners.
The move will further strengthen the OEM’s already expansive service network, which currently comprises more than 5,780 service touchpoints spread across 2,882 cities in India. The collaboration is positioned as a step towards integrating mobility and energy ecosystems to deliver a more seamless ownership experience.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Ram Suresh Akella, Executive Officer (Service), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said the company’s focus is on making car servicing as simple and convenient as possible. He noted that partnering with IOCL, one of India’s most trusted Maharatna enterprises, would allow Maruti Suzuki to extend its after-sales services to locations that customers already visit regularly. According to him, the collaboration marks an important step in enhancing accessibility, convenience and peace of mind throughout the car ownership journey.
From IOCL’s perspective, the partnership aligns with its efforts to enrich the customer experience at fuel stations through value-added services. Mr. Saumitra P. Srivastava, Director (Marketing), Indian Oil Corporation Limited, said the company’s network of over 41,000 fuel stations across India provides a unique platform to bring essential services closer to consumers. He added that the tie-up with Maruti Suzuki will integrate world-class automotive maintenance with Indian Oil’s energy offerings.
With this collaboration, Maruti Suzuki and Indian Oil aim to redefine convenience in vehicle after-sales care by combining their respective strengths in automotive service and nationwide energy infrastructure.
