
Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday announced the commencement of bookings for its latest SUV offerings, the XEV 9S and the XUV 7XO, marking another strong milestone in the company’s SUV growth journey. By 2.00 pm on January 14, 2026, Mahindra had recorded consolidated bookings of 93,689 units across the two models, translating into a booking value of over ₹20,500 crore, calculated at ex-showroom prices.
The strong response underlines Mahindra’s continued momentum in India’s SUV market, where the company has built its leadership on category-defining products backed by scale, manufacturing strength and sustained product innovation. With the introduction of the XEV 9S and XUV 7XO, Mahindra is further expanding its portfolio by offering customers a wide choice of powertrains, including electric, diesel and petrol, catering to varied usage patterns and evolving customer preferences within the authentic SUV segment.
Mahindra said deliveries of the two models will be rolled out in a phased manner across dealerships. Deliveries of the XUV 7XO have commenced from today, while deliveries of the all-electric XEV 9S are scheduled to begin from the week of January 26, 2026.
The company noted that the strong booking momentum reflects growing customer confidence in Mahindra’s SUV offerings and its ability to deliver products that combine performance, technology and design across both internal combustion and electric vehicle platforms.
