L. G. Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd. is a distinguished name in the automotive sector, specializing in manufacturing chain sprocket kits, belts, and various other components under the popular ROLON brand. The Coimbatore-based company is a leader supplier in both OEM and aftermarket segments for vehicles produced in India, with an impressive market share of close to 60% in some product categories.
Sharing details of the company’s new launches, K. Ragavendiran, Regional Senior Manager – Sales & Marketing, L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros, says, “We have introduced the industry’s first electric bike chain sprocket kit, which we are exclusively supplying to Tork Motors. We have also unveiled our chain sprocket kits for the Ultraviolette F77. These innovations underscore our commitment to staying at the forefront of automotive technology.”
He continues, “Besides sprocket kits, we have expanded our offerings to include a new range of dampers made from poly PU rubber materials. We are actively engaged in the scooter parts sector, manufacturing various transmission-related products such as clutch rollers, V-bushes, variator bodies, pully kits, starter motors, fan belts, and CVT belts. Notably, we are India’s only manufacturers of silent chains, which have received approvals from most OEMs.”
L. G. Balakrishnan also manufactures timing tensioners for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, along with steering cone sets, a recent addition to its product line-up. The supplier has ambitious plans for expanding its product offerings further soon.
