Intangles, a fleet intelligence company, has launched an AIS-140-certified product range in India that adds predictive vehicle health monitoring to the government-mandated tracking and emergency alerts. It comes in four configurations: InCert, InSight, InGenious and InVision+. Together they support vehicles from cabs and three-wheelers to heavy trucks and buses, with compatibility varying by configuration.
AIS-140 sets the Government of India’s requirements for vehicle tracking and emergency alerts. It does not require engine data, so a device built only to meet it shows where a vehicle is but little about its condition. Intangles says it helps fleets that need more, such as spotting faults before dispatch, tracking fuel losses and catching risky driving.
InCert gives AIS-140-certified tracking, trip management, geofencing and driver alerts. InSight adds driver behaviour reports, fuel insights and fault codes with repair guidance. InGenious adds predictive vehicle health monitoring, advanced fuel management, DriveIQ driver scorecards and operations automation. InVision+ adds AI video telematics with two cameras, one on the road and one on the driver, plus in-cabin voice alerts and video on demand. All four run on its InRoute platform.
Intangles says its platform combines physics-based analytics with machine learning, delivering 96% predictive AI accuracy and helping fleets cut powertrain breakdowns by 75%.

“The size of a fleet should not determine whether an operator can access predictive intelligence,” said Mr. Anup Patil, CEO. “A vehicle off the road can significantly affect a business, whether it owns five vehicles or five hundred.”
The range is sold through the company’s field sales channels and a new online store, InCentral, where customers can check vehicle compatibility, buy online and generate VLTD certificates.
