New Product Group Presentation at Automechanika Frankfurt
Hengst is expanding its portfolio for the independent automotive aftermarket with two new product groups: water pumps for thermal management and truck oil pans.
“With these new product groups, we’re bringing our many years of experience in original equipment manufacturing to other areas of the aftermarket. For our customers, this means more solutions from a single source and a portfolio tailored to the demands of the evolving automotive landscape,” says Adrian Rothschild, Group Director of Product Management.
Hengst unveiled the two new product groups, along with several other new services and products, for the first time at Automechanika in Frankfurt.
With its new water pump portfolio, Hengst is expanding its expertise in thermal management. The company has been supplying comprehensive cooling modules to the original equipment market for many years. Now, this know-how is being made available to the aftermarket. The range comprises nearly 200 water pump models and covers mechanical, switchable, and fully electric water pumps for main and auxiliary cooling circuits. These solutions are therefore suitable for a variety of vehicle designs and simultaneously strengthen the offering for increasingly electrified vehicles. The new water pumps will be available and ready for order starting in October 2026.
Hengst is also continuing to expand its portfolio in the area of oil pans. Following the knowledge for passenger cars, the company is now expanding its offering to include several models for truck oil pans, thereby covering common vehicle applications. Hengst draws on both its existing product experience and the expertise gained from its in-house plastics manufacturing. The first shipments of the new truck oil pans are scheduled to begin in December 2026.
The new products exemplify Hengst’s ongoing development under the “Filtration and Beyond” approach. The goal is to specifically apply existing technical expertise to additional systems and applications, thereby providing further solutions for wholesalers and repair shops.
