The all-new MINI Countryman C was launched in India today, marking a significant moment for the brand — this latest generation Countryman will now be Made in India, locally produced in petrol form at the BMW Group plant in Chennai. The car can be booked at all MINI India authorised dealerships, with deliveries commencing immediately.

The car is available exclusively in the Favoured Pack, priced at ₹47,50,000 ex-showroom, and comes in five colours — British Racing Green, Smokey Green, Nanuq White, Chili Red, and Slate Blue — with a Jet Black roof as standard. It rides on 19-inch Kaleido Spoke two-tone alloy wheels and gets JCW Sports Seats upholstered in Vescin Vintage Brown as standard fitment.
On the finance front, BMW India Financial Services has structured customised solutions through MINI Smart Finance, with monthly instalments starting at ₹56,990 and zero down payment. A standout feature is the best-in-segment assured buyback value of up to 66% at the end of three years, giving buyers added financial confidence. Customers can also finance MINI Service Inclusive, MINI Secure, and Extended Warranty packages as part of the purchase. The car comes with a standard two-year warranty covering unlimited kilometres, along with two years of round-the-clock roadside assistance — both transferable with ownership. The Service Inclusive plan starts at three years or 40,000 km and can be extended up to ten years or 1,00,000 km, with warranty extension also available up to ten years.
Under the hood, the Countryman C is powered by MINI’s latest TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, producing 156 hp and 240 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed Double Clutch Steptronic Sport Transmission for a broader gear spread and smoother power delivery. The car runs on MINI Operating System 9, optimised for touchscreen and voice control, with the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant activated by saying “Hey MINI” to control navigation, telephony, and entertainment functions. Other technology highlights include MINI Digital Key Plus, which turns a smartphone into a car key, a head-up display, a fisheye interior camera for capturing in-cabin moments, and a Harman Kardon hi-fi sound system with a 12-speaker setup. The car also offers eight MINI Experience Modes, ranging from the race-inspired Go-Kart Mode to the energy-saving Green Mode, each adjusting light, sound, and graphics settings to match the driving mood.
