Yokohama India today launched the GEOLANDAR X-CV range, originally developed for luxury SUVs with wheel sizes above 18 inches, now extended from 16 inches onwards to bring premium performance to a wider range of crossover SUVs. With 32 planned sizes spanning 16 to 20 inches, GEOLANDAR X-CV will be India’s most extensive dedicated tyre pattern for crossover and premium SUVs.
The GEOLANDAR X-CV will be available from this month across the Yokohama Club Network and select authorised dealers, with a no-cost EMI option offered at launch.
The range integrates Yokohama’s Micro Silica technology for wet-road grip and lower rolling resistance, an asymmetric tread design for improved traction and cornering stability, wide circumferential grooves for better wet braking, and 5-Pitch Variation Technology for a quieter ride. Reinforced two-ply sidewalls and Full Nylon Cover construction add durability and high-speed stability, while the EV-compatible design accommodates the higher weight and instant torque of electric vehicles.
