BMW Brings ‘Nürburgring 100’ Limited Editions to India, Including the M5 Touring

BMW India and BMW Motorrad India have announced the “100 Jahre Nürburgring” limited editions to mark the 100th anniversary of Germany’s famous Nürburgring racetrack in 2027. The collection includes five BMW M cars and the BMW M 1000 R motorcycle, and pre-orders are now open at authorised dealers.

The biggest news is the BMW M5 Touring, which is coming to India for the first time. The high-performance estate combines supercar-level speed with the space and comfort of a long-distance family car, a mix that has won it a loyal following among enthusiasts worldwide. Indian buyers can now experience BMW M’s Touring concept for the first time.

The M5 Touring is joined by the BMW M2 Coupé, the all-new BMW M3 sedan, the BMW M4 Coupé and the BMW M5 Sedan, completing a five-car line-up. All five come in an exclusive Nürburgring Green created only for this edition, or in Sapphire Black metallic with green accents. Each carries the “100 Years” logo, “Nürburgring since 1927” lettering and the outline of the track, along with model-specific graphics and trim.

Inside, the cars feature black interiors with green and white contrast stitching and edition-specific door sills. The six-cylinder models get an M Alcantara steering wheel with a 12 o’clock marker, M Carbon bucket seats with BMW Individual upholstery and carbon fibre trim. The M5 models have an M steering wheel with the same design touches.

Each car has its own highlights. The M2 xDrive adds an M carbon roof and M carbon bucket seats. The M3 Competition xDrive gets Nürburgring graphics, a carbon roof and green wheel accents. The M4 Competition xDrive adds BMW M stripes to its carbon roof. The M5 Sedan, powered by an M HYBRID drive, features green-accented light-alloy wheels and black Nordschleife embroidery. The M5 Touring, which shares the hybrid drive, has a steel roof with exclusive stripes.

On two wheels, the M 1000 R hyper naked bike gets a fuel tank painted with the Nürburgring outline, an anniversary-design airbox cover marked “one of 100,” carbon wheels with Nürburgring Green stripes, and an Alcantara-look seat with an embroidered “100.” A black swingarm and rear frame complete the look.

The editions celebrate BMW’s long link with the Nürburgring, a 20.8-km circuit in Germany’s Eifel Mountains with more than 150 corners. Nicknamed the “Green Hell,” the circuit’s Nordschleife is where every BMW M model is tested before it goes into production. BMW is also the most successful manufacturer in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, with 21 overall wins.
