Stellantis to launch 12 Jeep and Citroën products in India by 2030, with ₹4,000 crore more investment

Stellantis has announced the next phase of its India growth under its FaSTLAne 2030 plan, moving from building foundations to scaling up. Jeep and Citroën will launch 12 products over the next three years, made up of five Jeep and seven Citroën launches. Seven are all-new products and five are major upgrades. They will cover B, C and D-segment SUVs, an MPV, an A-segment car and a premium pickup. The first launch is due by Q2 2027.

The company will invest about ₹4,000 crore (about €400 million) over three years, taking its total investment in India to about ₹15,000 crore by 2030. Stellantis says it has already invested more than ₹11,000 crore. It runs three plants, at Ranjangaon in Maharashtra and Thiruvallur and Hosur in Tamil Nadu, with engineering and software work in Bengaluru and an ICT presence in Hyderabad.

Stellantis says its India business grew 35% in the second quarter of 2026 compared with the first, and Citroën retail sales rose 68% over the same period last year. The new portfolio will follow a multi-energy approach, with petrol and diesel engines, hybrids, plug-in hybrids and battery-electric models, chosen by customer needs, affordability and infrastructure. Stellantis targets 90% localisation for both brands and plans to expand its network, including Brand House outlets in Tier-2, Tier-3 and Tier-4 markets. It exports from India to about 50 countries, and about 95% of the engines and gearboxes made at Hosur are exported.

Mr. Tianshu Xin, Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis Asia-Pacific, called India “a long-term commitment, not just a volume chase”. Mr. Shailesh Hazela, CEO and Managing Director of Stellantis India, said the company’s commitment would be measured by what it puts on the road.
