Sarveshwari Technologies Ltd is moving from making machine components to making complete garage equipment. It is also launching a new brand for tyre repair and care.
Sharing his views to this publication at the recently concluded Automechanika Frankfurt, Mr. Mahendra N. Goyal, Managing Director, Sarveshwari Technologies Ltd, said, the company is introducing new products for tyre service and tyre repair. They will come under a new brand ‘Tyre Right.’ The goal is to offer a complete solution to keep tyres in the right condition. This is only an introduction, and more products will follow, he said.
From Custom Request to Standard Product
Many products start as a customer’s problem. A customer tells the company about an issue, and Sarveshwari builds a tool or equipment to solve it. Over time, that custom product becomes a standard product. Other customers then benefit from it too. He said this is a continuous journey. It also means very few new products come from the company’s own ideas. Most come from customer requests.
One Umbrella for Engineering
Sarveshwari offers a complete engineering solution. It works with plastic, sheet metal, castings, pressure die casting, aluminium, and rubber. The company designs and makes its dies and moulds in house. It then sends them out for production. This lets it handle many products under one roof.
The company began by supplying OEs. It has been an OE supplier to garage equipment makers around the world. These include makers of tyre changers, wheel balancers, and wheel aligners. Later, independent dealers and distributors also began to buy from it. The company sells its general products to all buyers. However, it does not offer the patented products it makes for garage equipment makers, he said.
Hit by Global Tension
Mr. Goyal said the company is not free from geopolitical trouble. Political situations change often. Orders from OES have dropped, and the movement of goods is restricted. In the Middle East, the company could not export anything for three to four months. Some movement has now started. He said there is no alternative but to bear it.
Mr. Goyal said the company deals with customers in a friendly way. It listens to their problems and gives a full solution. This covers price, quality, delivery, and after-sales support. If a product gives trouble, the company backs the customer fully. Because of this, customers feel at home and return often with new needs.
The Next Five Years
Sarveshwari now plans to make complete equipment. It already makes all the components of a machine. Requests have come in from Europe and the USA and the company will start acting on them soon, he added.
