Kia rolls out ‘Digital Passport’ to bring transparency to vehicle ownership

Kia India has introduced a new digital feature, Digital Passport, aimed at simplifying vehicle ownership and enhancing transparency through a unified, data-driven vehicle health report.

Integrated within the Kia Connect app under the “New Services” tab, the feature provides customers with a secure and comprehensive view of their vehicle’s lifecycle. The service is offered on a subscription basis at ₹399 (plus taxes) for three months.

Digital Passport addresses a long-standing issue faced by vehicle owners—fragmented data across multiple platforms—by consolidating critical information into a single, easy-to-understand report. The feature is designed to give users clear, verified insights into their vehicle’s overall condition, helping build confidence and trust.

Mt. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Marketing & Sales, Kia India, said the initiative reflects the company’s focus on delivering technology-led solutions that enhance customer experience and strengthen long-term engagement.

The Digital Passport provides a detailed vehicle health summary, including a simplified health score that offers a quick snapshot of the vehicle’s condition. It also covers key parameters such as service history, accident and repair records, driving behaviour insights, and warranty status—bringing together the entire ownership journey in one place.

By offering a verified, data-backed view of the vehicle, the feature aims to make it easier for customers to manage their vehicles, track performance, and understand long-term value. It also enhances engagement within the Kia Connect ecosystem, aligning with the growing demand for connected, transparent, and convenient ownership experiences.
