Ultraviolette Automotive has strengthened its presence in India’s growing electric two-wheeler market with the launch of a new UV Space Station in Nagpur. The facility was inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, marking a key milestone in the company’s retail and service network expansion across emerging mobility hubs.

The Nagpur UV Space Station is designed as a comprehensive 3S facility—covering sales, service and support—offering customers an immersive experience of Ultraviolette’s performance electric motorcycles. Set up in partnership with Quantum Surge Motors LLP, the centre enables test rides, product exploration and access to a range of accessories under one roof.
With this launch, Ultraviolette continues to scale its ‘Design in India, Make in India’ vision, backed by a strong focus on engineering-led innovation. The company’s portfolio includes advanced offerings such as the X-47 Crossover—claimed to be the world’s first radar-integrated motorcycle in its segment—alongside the F77 range.

The X-47 Crossover represents a significant technological leap, featuring radar-based safety systems powered by a 77 GHz rear radar and Ultraviolette’s HyperSense Advanced Rider Assistance System. Key functions include blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, overtake alerts and rear-collision warnings. The motorcycle also integrates a 5-inch TFT display, multiple ride modes, long-travel suspension and all-terrain tyres, aimed at delivering performance across varied riding conditions.
Powered by a 10.3 kWh battery, the platform delivers 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.8 seconds, with an IDC-certified range of 323 km on a single charge. The product also features an in-house developed high-density onboard charger and an integrated dashcam system.
Ultraviolette has also introduced its ‘Battery Flex’ (BaaS) model, aimed at improving accessibility to performance EVs. Under this approach, customers can purchase the motorcycle chassis at a starting price of ₹1.49 lakh, while subscribing to the battery separately at a monthly fee starting from ₹2,499.

Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder, Ultraviolette, highlighted Nagpur’s growing role as an innovation hub and emphasised the company’s commitment to building a seamless ownership ecosystem. CTO and Co-founder Niraj Rajmohan added that the initiative reflects India’s growing capabilities in advanced mobility technology and sustainable innovation.
