Tesla has announced the opening of its Tesla-Approved Body Shop (TAB) in Ahmedabad, strengthening its after-sales and ownership experience in Gujarat. Local Tesla owners now have access to genuine parts, trained body repair technicians, and collision repairs performed to Tesla standards — reducing downtime and delivering greater peace of mind across Ahmedabad and the surrounding Gujarat region. Tesla-Approved Body Shops are now operational across Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Ahmedabad.
Alongside the body shop launch, Tesla has opened test drive and display facilities in Ahmedabad for both the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and the Model Y L. Test drives can be scheduled at tesla.com/en_in/drive or by calling 1-800 203 1538.
The Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive is priced at ₹50,89,000, with a ₹6,00,000 down payment and EMIs from ₹39,990 per month. It offers 2,138 litres of storage, seating for five, 0–100 km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds, and a range of up to 500 km (WLTP). Deliveries began in July 2026.
The Model Y L, priced from ₹61,99,000 with a ₹6,50,000 down payment and EMIs from ₹49,990 per month, offers a three-row, six-seat all-wheel drive layout with up to 2,539 litres of cargo volume, 0–100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, and a range of up to 681 km (WLTP).
