Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV), one of India’s leading automotive manufacturers, has taken a significant leap in safety innovation by introducing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in its popular Nexon lineup. Continuing its legacy as India’s first car to receive a 5-star safety rating, the Nexon remains the only SUV with dual 5-star ratings from both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP.
The addition of ADAS elevates Nexon’s safety credentials with a suite of advanced technologies designed to prevent collisions and enhance driver awareness. Key features include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Centering System, High Beam Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition. These features collectively strengthen Nexon’s position as one of India’s safest and most technologically advanced compact SUVs.
The announcement comes as Tata Motors celebrates a new milestone — the Nexon being crowned India’s No. 1 selling car in September 2025. Marking the achievement, the company has also launched the exclusive Nexon Red #DARK Edition, available across petrol, diesel, and CNG powertrains, starting at ₹12.44 lakh.

The Red #DARK Edition enhances Nexon’s premium appeal with red-themed styling cues and an exclusive Atlas Black finish. It features a #DARK emblem with red lettering, piano black accents on the grille and roof rails, and red highlights inside the Granite Black cabin. The seats feature red leatherette upholstery with diamond quilting and contrast stitching, while #DARK-embroidered headrests, premium trim materials, and a rear sunshade complete the cabin’s upscale feel.
