STUDDS Launches Raider Youth, India’s First Full-Face Helmet Designed for Young Riders

STUDDS Accessories has launched the Raider Youth, a new full-face helmet designed specifically for young riders and petite adults, addressing a long-standing gap in India’s youth helmet market where full-face options in smaller head sizes have been largely unavailable. The helmet launches first in the Unicolor variant, priced from ₹1,175 inclusive of all taxes, and is available through authorised STUDDS dealerships, exclusive outlets, and the official online store.

Children’s and youth helmets in India have traditionally been offered in open-face designs, leaving the chin and lower face unprotected. The Raider Youth addresses this with a full chin-bar construction, offering greater protection for younger riders. It is equally suited for petite adults and women who have had limited full-face options in smaller sizes. Available in two compact sizes — XXS at 520 mm and XS at 540 mm — the helmet covers the head circumference range typical of children, teenagers, and adults with smaller head sizes.

The shell is modelled on adult premium full-face motorcycle helmets, giving it a design young riders will recognise and want to wear. A Dynamic Ventilation System with top air exhausts actively channels airflow, going beyond the passive vents common in this segment. A micro-fibre fabric liner keeps the interior comfortable during extended use. The Unicolor variant is available in 12 colours spanning solid, matte, and colour-shifting chameleon finishes — a first for this category in India.

The helmet is ISI certified, built with a high-impact ABS outer shell and regulated-density EPS liner engineered to absorb and distribute impact energy while remaining lightweight.

Mr. Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director of STUDDS Accessories, said the Raider Youth has been developed to address evolving expectations through a purpose-built full-face design that delivers greater coverage and confidence for young riders, and that the company believes it will resonate strongly with young riders and their families while encouraging the habit of safe riding from an early age.
