Raptee.HV Brings Car-Grade Charging to Electric Motorcycles with T30 Deliveries

Dinesh Arjun, CEO & Co-Founder, Raptee.HV.

Raptee.HV has commenced large-scale customer deliveries of its high-voltage electric motorcycle, the T30, marking the transition from deep-tech R&D to full commercial deployment. Developed over seven years at the company’s Chennai facility, the motorcycle introduces car-grade high-voltage architecture, CCS2 fast-charging compatibility, and a structured service ecosystem aimed at redefining electric two-wheeler ownership.

Chennai is the first operational market, with Bengaluru scheduled for April 2026, followed by a phased rollout across major South Indian capitals and select western markets. Positioned at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the T30 combines price parity with comparable ICE motorcycles, an 8-year battery warranty, a 3-year vehicle warranty, and an all-inclusive ownership package.

“With the commencement of large-scale customer deliveries, we are taking a product that has been seven years in the making to a much wider audience. We are delivery-ready and service-ready with a structured ecosystem, a dedicated service SPOC, and a trusted roadside assistance partner. For us, this is about setting a new benchmark in customer experience, where every ride begins with trust and continues with care,” commented Dinesh Arjun, CEO & Co-Founder, Raptee.HV.

High-Voltage Architecture Brings Car-Grade Charging to Motorcycles

The T30 is the first electric motorcycle in India to use a high-voltage architecture compatible with the country’s expanding electric car charging network. Riders can charge at public DC fast chargers without carrying bulky external chargers, while home charging is enabled through a lightweight cable and an onboard 3.3 kW charger.

“The most exciting part is that this motorcycle can use the same infrastructure that charges electric cars. You can ride up to any compatible public charger, plug in, and fast charge without carrying a separate charger. For home charging, the onboard charger is standard, so all you need is a simple cable and a 15-amp socket,” he explained.

The motorcycle delivers up to 200 km range on a single charge from its 5.4 kWh battery, with fast charging enabling a 20 – 80 percent top-up in roughly 30 – 40 minutes.

Eight Years of R&D to Create a New Motorcycle EV Architecture

Raptee.HV’s development journey focused on creating a dedicated high-voltage platform for motorcycles, a space where Arjun says no global architecture previously existed.

“In electric mobility, scooters had low-voltage systems and cars moved to high voltage, but there was no architecture for electric motorcycles. That required building the entire technology stack in-house, from the motor controller to the battery management system, and refining it over years of testing. Nearly 200 engineers worked on a single product to make it production-ready, reliable, and scalable,” he noted.

The company also had to co-create a supplier ecosystem capable of supporting high-voltage two-wheeler technology at an affordable cost, a key step in achieving mass-market pricing.

“We have been testing this final vehicle in real conditions for over two and a half years and continuously taking feedback from beta customers. One rider covered 8,000 kilometres across India using only public chargers without a single breakdown. These validations, along with our Asia Book of Records entries, are proof that the technology is not just innovative but ready for everyday use,” he added.

Service-First Market Expansion Strategy

Raptee.HV is prioritising service readiness before entering new cities, establishing authorised service centres ahead of showroom launches to address a common EV ownership concern.

“Before we enter any city, we set up the service infrastructure. Customers should never worry about support after purchase. That is why our rollout is phased, Chennai first, then Bengaluru, followed by other major cities. This approach ensures confidence in the product and the brand from day one,” he said.

Platform Strategy to Spawn Future Products

The T30 is the first model on Raptee.HV’s high-voltage platform, with new products planned at regular intervals as the company scales production and expands its manufacturing footprint.

“This motorcycle may look like a single product, but it represents eight years of building technology, supply chain, and manufacturing capability. The T30 is only the beginning, this platform will spawn multiple products. Our early customers are the foundation of that journey, and we will stay connected with them through continuous updates, feedback loops, and feature enhancements to keep improving the ownership experience,” he concluded.
