National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings), part of the CKA Birla Group, has entered into a strategic partnership with Ahamani EV Technology India Pvt. Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of Taiwan-based Ahamani Advanced Inc., to accelerate the adoption of next-generation drone technologies in India. As part of the agreement, NBC Bearings will acquire a 30 percent equity stake in Ahamani India.
The partnership brings together Ahamani’s advanced drone platforms, power systems and control technologies with NBC’s precision engineering expertise, manufacturing scale and quality systems. The collaboration is aligned with India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives and aims to address growing demand across a wide range of drone applications.
Ahamani India will act as the core platform for expanding access to high-performance drone systems and critical components tailored to Indian market requirements. NBC’s manufacturing capabilities and market reach are expected to support faster localisation and deployment while maintaining global performance and reliability standards.
