Maruti Suzuki India Limited has introduced the New Baleno, targeting young urban achievers with a bold new design philosophy — ‘Dare to go Glam’. Bookings are open at ₹11,000, with prices starting from ₹6,09,900 (ex-showroom).

Design
The Stunning New Baleno features a redesigned front fascia with a wide NEXWave grille with prominent 3D patterns and horizontal chrome slats, a sculpted front bumper with a new lower grille design, chrome accent fender garnish, and NEXTre LED DRLs. A new Enigmatic Teal colour — inspired by the depths of the sea and digital fusion — joins a palette of seven colour options, along with a shark fin antenna that adds to the premium appeal.

The headline addition is segment-first Level 2 ADAS, equipped with a radar and camera combination offering Advanced Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Prevention and Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, High Beam Assist, Vehicle Sway Warning, and Forward Collision Warning. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, Hill Hold Control, Emergency Stop Signal, and the newly introduced Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
Interior
The cabin features a plush dual-tone interior with piano black inserts and segment-first ventilated front seats with leatherette upholstery. A 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Premium Clarion sound system, Qi-certified wireless charger with active cooling, 360-degree View Camera, Head-Up Display, and Suzuki Connect telematics with 40+ features complete the interior package.
Powertrain
The Stunning New Baleno is powered by the Advanced Z12E engine producing 61 kW and 112.4 Nm of torque, available with a 5-speed manual and Auto Gear Shift transmission. Fuel efficiency has improved by 6.4% for the MT (23.80 km/l) and 7.9% for the AGS (24.77 km/l) over the outgoing model. The S-CNG variant with 5-speed manual delivers 33.61 km/kg — an improvement of 9.8% over its predecessor.
