Jio-bp, the EV charging brand of Reliance BP Mobility Limited (a joint venture of Reliance Industries and bp), has partnered with Kia India to integrate their charging networks. Kia EV customers can now find, use and pay for Jio-bp pulse charging stations through K-Charge in the MyKia app. With the pulse network added, the platform offers access to more than 23,500 charging points across India.

The integration works both ways. Kia’s 125 operational DC fast chargers at its dealerships, along with future ones, will gradually be added to Jio-bp’s pulse charge pro app. In both apps, customers can locate and navigate to chargers, start and monitor sessions, and pay securely.
Jio-bp contributes more than 7,000 charging points across over 1,100 active sites in more than 300 cities, many on major national highways. Its DC fast chargers range from 60 kW to 480 kW, and the company says its network has 96% uptime.
Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Kia India, said the integration gives Kia EV customers more charging options through a single platform. Jio-bp Chairman Mr. Sarthak Behuria said India’s shift to electric mobility depends on building trust at scale. Mr. Akshay Wadhwa, CEO of the company said range anxiety is often about whether the next charger will be working, and pointed to the network’s reliability.
