As the Prime Partner of this prestigious biennial event, Hyundai showcased its latest technological innovations, mobility vision, and strategic collaborations focused on sustainable transportation.
The FISITA World Mobility Conference is organised by La Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Ingénieurs des Techniques de l’Automobile – the world’s largest association of academic institutions in the automotive engineering domain. With representation from 36 countries and a global network of over 210,000 researchers, the conference draws around 2,000 leading executives, engineers, and researchers from across the mobility spectrum.
Delivering the Principal Speech at the conference, José Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, underscored Hyundai’s evolution from a traditional automaker into a technology-driven mobility provider. He highlighted the company’s progress in electrification, hydrogen fuel cell solutions, and smart mobility systems, while expressing gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the global engineering community. He also extended congratulations to ChangHwan Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Electrification Energy Solutions Tech Unit at Hyundai Motor Group, who was appointed as the first Korean President of FISITA. Kim will serve in this leadership role through May 2027, overseeing the organisation’s Executive Board and Committees.

Hyundai’s presence at the conference was further strengthened by a dedicated exhibition themed ‘Clearly Committed, FCEV Technology’, where it showcased the all-new NEXO and an enhanced fuel cell system, reinforcing its pioneering role in hydrogen mobility and its broader mission as a smart mobility solutions provider.
In addition to exhibition activities, Hyundai is hosting a technical session from June 4 to 5, featuring the latest advancements and collaborative research conducted with European partners. Key topics include:
- Virtual performance verification using driving simulators
- Bushing technologies for enhanced EV ride comfort
