BYD India, a subsidiary of new energy vehicle maker BYD, has achieved a major milestone by delivering its 10,000th electric vehicle in India. In India, BYD’s lineup includes the SEALION 7, ATTO 3 eSUV, eMAX 7 eMPV, and the SEAL sedan.
Since starting operations, BYD India has gone beyond just selling cars. With 44 dealerships across key cities, after-sales support, roadside assistance, extended warranties, and partnerships like the one with Relux Electric for hassle-free charging, the company has built a strong customer-first ecosystem. Globally, BYD has sold over 13 million NEVs, saving more than 106 billion kilograms of carbon emissions—equal to what nearly 1.8 billion trees would absorb.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles Business at BYD India, said, “Reaching 10,000 customers in India is a proud achievement. Every BYD vehicle on the road reduces emissions, advances EV technology, and strengthens a sustainable mobility ecosystem. Referrals from satisfied customers have played a big role in our growth.”
