In February 2023, Ashok Leyland reported a 32% increase in its domestic sales, which totaled 17,568 units and included both light commercial vehicles and medium and heavy commercial vehicles. According to a corporate statement, the manufacturer sold 13,281 units during the same month last year. As of February, the company’s cumulative domestic sales increased by 60% to 1,58,031 units from the 98,756 units sold during the same month last year.

When it comes to domestic sales and exports, in February 2023 the total vehicle sales increased by 27% to 18,571 units from 14,657 units in the comparable month in the previous year. As of February 2023, total sales (cumulatively) for domestic and international, rose by 56% to 1,68,279 units from 1,08,203.
