PPS Motors opens largest upcountry Mahindra service workshop in Pune region at Saswad

PPS Motors, part of PPS Group, has opened a new Mahindra service facility at Khalad in Saswad, Pune. It is the group’s 151st Mahindra touchpoint in India and takes its network to nine Mahindra touchpoints in and around Pune.

The workshop covers 25,400 sq ft, which the company says makes it the largest upcountry automobile service workshop in the Pune region. It has 18 bays, including 13 service bays and five bodyshop bays, and can service more than 4,500 vehicles a year. It also has advanced diagnostic and repair equipment.

PPS says Saswad offers a strong market because of one of Maharashtra’s largest and most prosperous farming communities and a growing base of Mahindra customers. The workshop is meant to improve service access for Mahindra owners in Saswad and nearby areas.

Senior Mahindra & Mahindra officials inaugurated the facility, including Mr. Pavan Kumar, SVP and Head of Sales, Customer Care and CX. PPS Group executives, including Mr. Supreeth R, CEO of PPS-M&M, also attended. PPS Motors Managing Director Mr. Rajiv Sanghvi said the group aims to give customers a best-in-class ownership experience, together with Mahindra.

PPS-Mahindra says it has sold more than 6,200 Mahindra vehicles in the Pune region in two years of local operations.
