Lexus India inaugurated its new Guest Experience Centre (GEC) in Ahmedabad, reflecting the brand’s continued focus on enriching guest experiences across India. As the Indian luxury automotive market grows and attracts more buyers exploring luxury mobility, Lexus is strengthening its presence to bring the brand closer to guests across the country.
The centre has been established by Bharat Toyota Tsusho Kirloskar Motor Private Limited (BTTKM), trade name Lexus Bharat, a newly formed joint venture between Kirloskar Systems Private Limited, Toyota Tsusho India Private Limited, and Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Japan. It was inaugurated by Mrs. Geetanjali Vikram Kirloskar, Chairperson & Managing Director, KSPL; Mr. Nobuaki Yahiro, Managing Director, TTIPL; Mr. Tadashi Asazuma, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor; and Mr. Hikaru Ikeuchi, President, Lexus India, in the presence of senior leaders from dealer partners, Lexus Bharat, and Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
The Ahmedabad GEC is the first step in Lexus India’s planned network enhancement, which aims to strengthen Guest Experience Centres across the country. Designed around the Lexus YET philosophy of “Simple yet Elegant” and “Minimal yet Rich,” the space blends sophisticated design with intuitive hospitality. It also combines the Japanese spirit of Omotenashi, which anticipates guest needs with genuine care, with India’s tradition of Atithi Devo Bhava.
Mr. Ikeuchi said India’s luxury market is evolving rapidly, with guests seeking distinctive products, meaningful experiences, and brands that align with their values. He said the Ahmedabad centre marks the beginning of an important milestone for Lexus India, and that Gujarat is a vibrant and growing luxury market. Mr. Sreenivas Chivikula, Managing Director, Lexus Bharat, added that the opening marks the start of a new chapter for Lexus in India, with a focus on world-class luxury retail standards and personalised guest experiences.
Guests can explore Lexus’ luxury vehicles, craftsmanship, advanced technologies, and electrified mobility solutions at the centre, and service their vehicles at the operational Lexus Service Point (LSP) in Ahmedabad. Lexus India now has 18 LSP touchpoints, and operates Guest Experience Centres in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Kochi, and Ahmedabad.
Lexus India also offers a 5-year Roadside Assistance package covering towing, taxi service, and repatriation, along with an 8-year/200,000 km vehicle and hybrid battery warranty on all models. Its Assured Buy Back Program, with low EMIs and a guaranteed future residual value, is available for the RX, NX, and ES models, alongside Lexus Luxury Care service packages in Comfort, Relax, and Premiere options.
