India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM) has announced the proposed integration of Yamaha Motor Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (YEIN) into IYM, as part of its strategic restructuring initiative announced earlier this year. The move aims to streamline operations, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and establish a more agile organisational framework for sustainable growth.
The integration will bring electrical and electronic component expertise directly into Yamaha’s core development and manufacturing ecosystem, strengthening its premium product portfolio and supporting the development of next-generation and electrified mobility solutions.

The restructuring is expected to be finalised by the end of the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory and stakeholder approvals. Yamaha has assured business continuity throughout the process, with no disruption to customers, business partners, or employees.
Following the integration, YEIN’s function will continue within IYM, leveraging its expertise in electrical components to support product development and manufacturing priorities. The unified organisation will also provide greater opportunities for talent development, knowledge sharing, and innovation — further strengthening Yamaha’s long-term competitiveness and readiness for the future of mobility.
