STUDDS Accessories Ltd. has launched a limited-edition Nardo Grey colour range across seven of its popular helmet models, timed to India’s 80th Independence Day. Only 1,947 units have been produced, in gloss and matt finishes, a number chosen to honour 1947, the year India gained independence.

Nardo Grey traces its roots to the Nardo Ring in Italy, where it first appeared on the Audi R8 and became a defining shade of European performance car culture, prized for letting form and geometry carry the design rather than graphics. The Independence Day timing draws on grey’s association with India’s defence forces, from Su-30MKI jets to naval ships and army camouflage, with STUDDS branding the collection “The Colour of Honour.”
Mr. Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director, STUDDS Accessories Ltd., said the range is a tribute to the discipline and resilience of the armed forces and a commitment to world-class safety for every motorcyclist.
The series spans seven models: Helios (highway full-face), Trooper (modular), Ninja Elite Super (flip-up), Drifter (street-styled full-face), Raider Super (lightweight urban full-face), Vogue (open-face), and Ray Super (wide-vision open-face). All models meet ISI/BIS safety standards, with two also DOT-certified, and feature high-impact thermoplastic shells, regulated-density EPS liners, UV-resistant lacquer, and hypoallergenic padding.
The launch anchors STUDDS’ “#TheColourOfHonour” campaign across social media, which also supports a rider journey from Bihar to Nepal. The 1,947 units are now with authorised STUDDS dealers and will reach retail outlets shortly.
