Renault Expands Kiger Range, Makes Turbo Performance More Accessible

Renault India has announced an expanded variant line-up for the Kiger, bringing turbo performance and premium features to more accessible price points in the competitive entry B-SUV segment.

The updates are designed to strengthen Kiger’s appeal in a segment where value and features are key purchase drivers. With a bolder variant strategy, wider powertrain choices, and improved accessibility, Renault aims to position the Kiger as a compelling, feature-rich option for the evolving B-SUV customer.

At the core of the update is the new Evolution+ variant, introduced across Naturally Aspirated (MT & AMT) and Turbo (MT) powertrains. The variant adds high-demand features including Smart Access Card with Push Start/Stop, Automatic Climate Control, Driver Seat Height Adjustment, Wireless Smartphone Replication, and light embossed fabric upholstery — features previously available only at higher price points. With this addition, the Kiger Turbo now claims the title of the most accessible turbo-powered vehicle in the entry B-SUV segment.

Mr. Francisco Hidalgo, VP – Sales and Marketing, Renault India, said, “With the New Kiger range, we are taking this commitment further by bringing turbo performance, premium features, and greater choice within easier reach. This update reflects our effort to democratise features and technologies that matter most, while staying true to Kiger’s core promise of performance.”

Wider Range, Greater Choice

Renault has significantly expanded the Kiger’s portfolio with this update. The Turbo line-up grows from three to five variants, with the Techno variant now also available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Naturally Aspirated range has been expanded from six to eight variants, offering customers a broader spread across price points.
