ixigo, India’s AI-driven travel platform, has launched native apps for its key services—ixigo Flights & Hotels, AbhiBus, and ConfirmTkt—within ChatGPT, enabling users to plan and book end-to-end travel through a conversational interface.
With this integration, users can search, compare and explore travel options across flights, buses, trains and hotels in real time, simply by using natural language prompts. By typing “@ixigo”, “@AbhiBus” or “@ConfirmTkt”, travellers can access live pricing, availability and fare insights, before seamlessly proceeding to bookings via the respective ixigo Group platforms.
The feature also introduces real-time flight tracking within ChatGPT, allowing users to check live updates such as boarding gates, baggage belts and check-in counters without leaving the conversation. In addition, travellers can discover hotels through intuitive queries—for instance, searching for a “seaside hotel in Goa”—and receive dynamic options with pricing and booking links.
The integration extends to intercity bus travel through AbhiBus, where users can compare operators, filter by preferences such as premium or budget options, and complete bookings. Similarly, ConfirmTkt enables users to check train availability, explore alternate confirmed ticket options and proceed to bookings within a single flow.
Commenting on the launch, ixigo’s leadership said the move aims to simplify travel planning by combining discovery, decision-making and booking into one unified experience. By leveraging ChatGPT’s large user base, the company is positioning itself at the forefront of AI-led travel solutions.
