Busworld Europe 2025 concluded after yet another record-breaking edition — a show that was not just bigger but also more vibrant and dynamic than ever before. With expanded exhibition space, a surge in exhibitors, and an electrifying atmosphere across the Brussels Expo halls, this year’s event reaffirmed Busworld’s standing as the world’s premier platform for the bus and coach industry.

A Vibrant and Expanding Exhibition
The 2025 edition hosted 559 exhibitors from 40 countries, including 81 bus manufacturers (up from 66 in 2023). Together, they showcased 209 vehicles indoors and 29 outdoors — a fleet that would stretch over 3.5 kilometres if lined up.

The exhibition spanned 82,000 square metres across 6.8 kilometres of corridors, accommodating a remarkable 45,427 visitors from 101 countries — a clear indicator of the sector’s growing momentum. Exhibitors reported robust business leads and strong engagement from operators, engineers, and decision-makers across markets.

The verdict was unanimous: Busworld Europe 2025 once again proved to be the most influential global meeting point for the bus and coach industry.
“After months of preparation, the moment the doors open is always special — a feeling shared by every stand manager and communication team,” said Mieke Glorieux, Managing Director, Busworld Europe. “The positive energy during the show is incredible, and when the bus horns echo on the final day at 18:00, it’s hard to say goodbye. A big thank you from the whole team to all exhibitors, visitors, and supporters — you drive us!”
Global Media Spotlight
This year’s edition drew 405 accredited media professionals — journalists, vloggers, and photographers — from 49 countries, all capturing the pulse of global passenger transport.

An additional 50 social media influencers and content creators broadcast live impressions, interviews, and updates to audiences worldwide, amplifying the event’s reach beyond Brussels.
In total, 34 press conferences and 23 vehicle unveilings and innovation premieres were held — further strengthening Busworld’s reputation as the launchpad for breakthrough technologies and new product reveals.
Inspiring Congress Sessions
The Busworld Europe Congress once again brought together thought leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across the industry.

Over four days, discussions spanned zero-emission technology, digitalisation, safety, socio-economic trends, and the evolving future of long-distance coach travel. Strong attendance reflected the industry’s readiness to collaborate and collectively shape the future of mobility.
Key takeaways from the Congress included:
- By 2030, more than 60% of urban buses in Europe will be battery-electric, underscoring the accelerating shift toward zero-emission mobility.
- Redefining zero emission through the lens of carbon neutrality—not just tailpipe emissions—could accelerate the decarbonisation of long-haul transport.
- The seamless exchange of vehicle-generated data will be vital in enabling safe, connected, and multimodal mobility ecosystems.
