Tata Motors Delivers Over One Lakh Vehicles During Festive Season, Records 33% Growth

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. has achieved a major festive milestone, delivering over 1 lakh vehicles during the 30-day period from Navratri to Diwali, marking a robust 33% growth compared to the same festive window last year.

Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and CEO, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., said the company’s SUV lineup continued to drive this momentum. The Nexon, India’s best-selling car in September 2025, recorded more than 38,000 retails — a striking 73% year-on-year growth. Meanwhile, the Punch registered 32,000 units, up 29% over last year.

The company’s electric vehicle portfolio also witnessed strong traction, with over 10,000 EVs retailed during this festive period, reflecting a 37% rise. This performance, spanning the complete portfolio of cars and SUVs, underscores Tata Motors’ focus on product leadership, market relevance, and delivery excellence.

Mr. Chandra added that the company expects this momentum to carry forward into the rest of the fiscal year, buoyed by customer enthusiasm and a series of exciting new launches on the horizon.
