TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited has secured a three-year contract from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) to manage in-plant warehouse operations at DICV’s manufacturing facility in Chennai, strengthening its role as a key logistics partner to global automotive OEMs.

Under the agreement, TVS Supply Chain Solutions will handle end-to-end warehouse and in-plant logistics operations within the DICV facility, focusing on seamless material flow, optimised inventory management and improved operational efficiency. Around 700 employees from TVS SCS will be deployed for this engagement.
The partnership will see TVS SCS leverage a suite of advanced digital and automation technologies to support DICV’s production ecosystem. These include IoT-based tracking systems to provide real-time visibility of materials, automation-led processes to minimise manual handling, predictive analytics for improved planning, and digital dashboards for centralised performance monitoring. Together, these capabilities are expected to enhance efficiency, reliability and quality across in-plant logistics operations.
