Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has announced a special gesture to celebrate the Indian Women’s Cricket Team’s outstanding performance at the ICC Women’s World Cup. The company will gift each player the top-end variant of the soon-to-be-launched Tata Sierra, marking the team as the first recipients of the iconic SUV’s new-generation version. The new Tata Sierra is set to make its official comeback on 25 November.
The gesture recognises the team’s resilience, hard work, and contribution to Indian sport, celebrating a journey that has inspired millions. Tata Motors stated that the return of the legendary Sierra mirrors the spirit of the players – bold, determined, and iconic.
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and CEO, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., said the team’s achievement has made the nation proud. He added that presenting the Sierra is a tribute to their belief, perseverance and the pride they have brought to India, calling it “two legends, one spirit, and infinite inspiration.”
