Renault Launches New Kiger

Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of the French carmaker Renault Group, today announced the launch of the New Kiger, developed under the rethink performance philosophy. Powered by a refined 100 PS turbocharged engine and more than 35 enhancements, the sub-four metre SUV offers a compelling combination of performance, class-leading fuel efficiency, and exceptional value.

The New Kiger is renewed to deliver powerful performance with bolder design, smarter technology, enhanced safety integrationand it is available in a thoughtfully curated range of trims. The fully loaded Turbo variants of Kiger – Techno and Emotion are priced between INR 9.99 Lakhs and INR 11.29 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the more accessible naturally aspirated engine variants are available between INR 6.29 Lakhs and INR 9.14 Lakhs (ex-showroom)

Renault, a brand driven by human-centric design, introduces the New Kiger rooted in the emotive pillar “Express,”.  It features a bold front fascia with Renault’s new brand identity, a squared-off stance, and extended chin and rear skid graphics that reinforce its SUV appeal.

The launch also debuts an exclusive new colour—Oasis Yellow, a vibrant shade with special mica treatment that enhances its visual impact and emotional resonance. Paired with a reflective black grille, metallic grey skid plate, sporty alloy wheels, dual-tone roof, and distinctive graphic elements, the New Kiger delivers a confident and dynamic presence.

A specially treated TURBO badge underscores its ‘rethink performance’ positioning, symbolizing the vehicle’s commitment to empowering self-expression through enhanced driving dynamics.

The car is available in seven attractive colour palettes, including two new additions — Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey — alongside existing options: Radiant Red, Caspian Blue, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, and Stealth Black.

The New Kiger is built upon the strong legacy of the original Kiger, which offered unique performance package in the sub-4meter SUV segment. The car retains its engineering brilliance of uniquely designed engine compartment enabling a spacious cabin layout with best in segment rear kneeroom, interior storage space, front couple distance and class leading boot space. The car also offers three distinct driving modes — Eco, Normal, and Sport — designed to adapt to varying drivetrain needs and customer preferences.

At its heart is a spirited Turbocharged Engine that produces maximum power of 100 PS and up to 160 Nm of torque, while ensuring impressive fuel efficiency of 20.38 kmpl (as per ARAI). For customers who seek an even more accessible choice, the New Kiger is also available with a refined naturally aspirated engine, delivering maximum power of 72 PS and up to 96 Nm of torque, along with a fuel efficiency of 19.83 kmpl (as per ARAI).

Additionally, Renault India has improved the driving dynamics of Kiger through Mirror Bore Coating technology, used commonly in racing cars, which reduces friction inside the engine cylinder, thus improves fuel economy, offers more power, and improves engine durability.
